These are Rectify Series drop-in speaker systems for Atlas Trainman NRE Genset locomotives.
 
Two versions are available:
 
The early Trainman version used an oval speaker in a single, rectangular cavity within the rear weight. The ALTM-GEN3-RC1 speaker is for this version. The speaker uses the factory mount and screws. No modifications are needed to install new or to replace the factory speaker. If installing in a non-sound unit, you can use some adhesive or mounting-tape if you don't have screws.
 
The current-run Trainman Plus Silver/Gold uses a new cavity deigned to accommodate two 11x15 drivers. The ALTM-GENP-RC1 speaker is for this version. Since the cast-in cavity is so small, the ALTM-GENP speaker replaces the entire rear weight. A small 1.2 ounce weight-reduction will occur but the sound will be vastly fuller and more detailed. The speakers come fully assembled and tested.
 
ALTM-GEN3-RC1 dimensions are: 9mmH x 16mmW x 35mm
ALTM-GENP-RC1 dimensions are the same as the weight.
