LED Conversion Kits for Genesis F-Unit locomotives that come stock with twin-beam and/or upper nose-mount action/UDE housings. These kits are not for converting single-bulb lights to twin-beam and/or upper nose-mount action/UDE conversions; you’ll need the “LED Headlight Modernization Kits for Cab-Units (E, F, Athearn & others)” for that conversion.
Get rid of the dim, toy-like looking bulbs that never stay in place and burn-out! These kits feature beautiful looking lenses - lit or unlit - with a simple and fast installation!
Two kits are available:
• Combo twin-beam+twin-beam for the lower door and upper nose positions (outfits two lights)
• Upper-2-bulb or upper-3-bulb UDE+action-light lenses (outfits one light in either configuration)
The twin-beam kits include the clear lightpipe lenses, pre-wired 0805 warm-white LEDs and 3mm heat-shrink pieces.
The UDE/action light kits include clear lightpipe lenses, red UDE lens, pre-wired 0805 warm-white LED, pre-wired 0402 red LED, black styrene divider and 3mm heat-shrink piece.
