LED Conversion Kits for Genesis F-Unit locomotives that come stock with twin-beam and/or upper nose-mount action/UDE housings. These kits are not for converting single-bulb lights to twin-beam and/or upper nose-mount action/UDE conversions; you’ll need the “LED Headlight Modernization Kits for Cab-Units (E, F, Athearn & others)” for that conversion.
Get rid of the dim, toy-like looking bulbs that never stay in place and burn-out! These kits feature beautiful looking lenses - lit or unlit - with a simple and fast installation!
Individual-position options include:
• Lower door-mounted twin-beam headlight lens
• Upper nose-mounted twin-beam headlight lens
• Upper-2-bulb-UDE/action-light lenses
• Upper-3-bulb-UDE/action-light lenses
Dual-position options include:
• Combo-twin-beam+twin-beam
• Combo-two-bulb-action+lower-twin-beam
• Combo-three-bulb-action+lower-twin-beam
The twin-beam kits include the chosen clear lightpipe lens, pre-wired warm-white LED and 3mm heat-shrink piece.
The UDE/action light kits include clear lightpipe lens, red UDE lens, pre-wired warm-white LED, pre-wired red LED, black styrene divider and 3mm heat-shrink piece.
