This is a Rectify Series drop-in speaker system for pre-sound Life-Like Proto 2000 GP30 locomotives. The system sits on the chassis over the short-hood drive-shaft and fits between the cab seats in the cab. This is a fast, simple way to add sound to these locomotives without modifying the frame or removing weight. Use two small strips of mounting-tape to secure the feet to the frame.
 
A Nix Trainz Decoder Buddy MINI with 21pin decoder and a Power-Bridge stay-alive will fit in place of the stock board. You can also use the Nix Trainz N18+ NEXT18 motherboard or a bare-wire decoder.
 
The speaker comes fully assembled and tested.
