If you do not need a file loaded, enter NONE. If you need a sound-file loaded on the decoder, enter the 5-digit file number in the "Sound File Number" field. Either Loksound 5 files "S0XXX" or Loksound V4 files only. Select files will not work in V5 decoders. Custom sound loading is not an available service.

In the DCC format, 14 to 128 speed steps are as natural as 2- and4-digit addresses and up to 32 functions. Thanks to RailComPlus®, thedecoders log on fully automatically to a suitable digital central unit.
It masters all DCC programming modes and, thanks to RailCom®, theCV values on the main track can be read out with suitable controlpanels. For panels that can only program the CVs from 1-255, thereare auxiliary registers.
Braking with DCC brake modules or DC voltage is also possible. Anautomatic ABC shuttle allows automatic commuting between two stations.
The LokSound 5 decoder can also be used on analog DC tracks.
The LokSound 5 decoder can play up to 10 channels simultaneously.Each channel can be resolved with up to 16 bit / 31250 kHz and finallyoffers hi-fi quality on your system. There is virtually no difference tothe original more audible. A Class D audio power amplifier with upto 3W output powers the speakers, which may have between 4 ohmsand 32 ohms impedance. The huge 128 Mbit sound storage providesenough capacity.
All individual sounds can be individually adjusted in volume. The superflexible Sound engine without rigid schedule allows the prototypicalsimulation of all imaginable locomotives. Three separately adjustablebraking functions and two alternative load scenarios give you the maximumcontrol over your Locos.
